Saskia Hunter is a visual artist with photography as her chosen medium. Born and raised in a multi-cultural home in Northern Virginia, Saskia grew up surrounded by a vast variety of people and cultures. She studied at Brigham Young University and received a Bachelors of Fine Arts (BFA) in Photography, with minors in Art History and Italian.
She is very influenced by her love of art history, by her internationally influenced childhood, and by her faith. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and believer in God and Jesus Christ, she hopes to use her art to promote love and acceptance of all of God’s children. Her main focus in her work is that it is inspiring, uplifting, and brings joy to others.
